This motor can run both directions, but the cast iron fan wheel (see picture) is screwed on in one direction. This will need to be removed if you are to run both directions. The rated voltage of the motor is 260 VDC for 5100 RPM operation. Lower voltages can be used and the RPM will be reduced proportionally. See the chart below:
The motor comes with a 6" dia pulley/fan with 1-3/8" dia. 6 groove poly V pulley. A belt can be added to the pulley to facilitate turning the motor. Turning the motor will produce a voltage at the terminal wires. So mechanical rotation on the motor shaft creates power in form of voltage at the motor terminals. For this DC motor the back EMF is about 35 mV/RPM

The motor diameter is about 3.1 inches. The motor housing is about 7 3/4 inches long and the shaft is about 1 7/8 inches long. The shaft end is 1/2" threaded shaft on a 5/8" shaft, see the following picture:
