Power and Auxiliary Relay Packs
Power packs provide 24VDC operating voltage to all Watt Stopper 24VDC occupancy sensors and LightSaver controllers. Auxiliary relay packs are similar to power packs but have no transformer power supply, only an isolated relay.
Power packs consist of a transformer and highcurrent relay combined in one small, powerful package. The transformer has a primary high voltage input and a secondary, low voltage output (24 VDC,114 mA with relay connected). The secondary voltage provides operating power to Watt Stopper sensors. When the occupancy sensors detect motion or light sensors detect inadequate ambient light, they electrically close an internal circuit which sends 24 VDC back to the power or auxiliary relay packs that control the lighting system.
The B power packs are UL 2043 plenum rated with teflon coated low voltage leads and plenum rated plastic. This means that the power packs do not need to be installed in the junction box, but can be installed in the plenum. They are housed in ABS, UL-rated 94V-0 plastic enclosures.
Watt Stopper power and auxiliary relay packs are designed to be flexible enough to control almost any lighting or HVAC load. For example, power packs can control lighting circuits, self-contained air conditioners, pumps, fans, motors, VAV systems, motorized damper controls and setback thermostats. They are excellent for any application which requires high voltage switching through low voltage controls. By linking power packs and sensors, an almost unlimited number of configurations can be obtained.

Zero crossing circuitry for reliability and increased product life
1. Power pack shall be a self-contained transformer and relay module measuring 1.6" x 2.75" x 1.6".
2. For ease and speed of installation, power and auxiliary relay pack shall have 1/2" snap-in nipple for 1/2" knockouts and mounting on outside of enclosure.
3. Power and auxiliary relay packs shall have dry contacts capable of switching 20 amp ballast load, 13 amp incandescent, 1 hp @ 120 VAC, 60Hz; 20 amp ballast @ 277 VAC, 60 Hz; 15 amp ballast @ 347 VAC, 60Hz; 15 amp ballast, 1 hp @ 220-240 VAC, 60 Hz; and 20 amp ballast, 13 amp incandescent, 1 hp @ 220-240 VAC, 50 Hz.
4. Power packs shall provide a 24 VDC, 150 mA output.
5. Power packs shall be capable of parallel wiring without regard to AC phases on primary.
6. Auxiliary relay packs shall be identical in physical size of power packs and contain no transformer power supply and shall switch 120VAC, 277 VAC, 347 VAC or low voltage.
7. Power pack can be used as a stand alone, low voltage switch, or can be wired to sensor for auto control.
8. Power and auxiliary relay packs shall have low voltage teflon coated leads, rated for 300 volts, suitable for use in plenum applications.
9. Power pack shall be UL 2043 rated, use UL94 V-O plenum rated plastic, and have low voltage teflon coated leads, rated for 300 volts
10. B120E-P, B230E-P, and B277E-P power packs shall utilize Zero Crossing Circuitry to protect from the effects of inrush current and increase product longevity.
11. To ensure quality and reliability, power and auxiliary relay packs shall be manufactured by an ISO 9002 certified manufacturing facility and shall have a defect rate of less than 1/3 of 1%.
12. Power and auxiliary relay packs shall be UL and CUL listed.
