Each Process Sims simulation is a ‘virtual machine’ for you to program. The simulation runs on your PC and communicates serially with your PLC. Along with the real I/O's you can have several real machine applications.
Each Process Sims CD contains seven simulated processes:
* A compressed air system with lead/lag pumps.
* Two tank fill simulations, one using a pump controlled by an across-the-line starter, the other using an adjustable speed drive.
* Two pick & place mechanisms using pneumatic actuators, one with single solenoid, two position valves, the other with double solenoid, two position valves.
* An elevator operating between three floors.
* Everybody’s favorite, the traffic light.
