HP 60501A 60V/63A 150W Load for 6050A / 6051A tested
This 60V / 30A, 150W Load is in good used condition. The binding posts are in good, clean shape, and the 10 pin port on the front of the unit has the plastic lid attached. All the traces on the backside of the board appear to be in good shape. The units transformer lid is in good condition. The number on the lid is HP 9100-4840. The heat sink and the spacers are intact and in good shape. This Module has it's retainer pin to secure it to the mainframe. The backplate of the unit has a few scratches on it, but nothing major. The 3 communication ports on the top of the 60501A are in good condition.
This unit's serial number is 3031A-01815.
Here is some info we found on the unit - The 60501A is a 60V / 30A, 150W Electronic Load Module designed for use in a 6050A or 6051A Electronic Load Mainframe. It is ideal for the test and evaluation of DC power sources and power components and is well suited for applications in areas such as research and development, production, and incoming inspection. The 60501A module includes programming inputs that allow control of load current via an analog control voltage. It features full protection from over-current, over-voltage, overpower, over-temperature, and reverse polarity. Power connections are made via large high-current binding posts which permit rapid connections by hand and eliminate the traditional bolt/nut connections of the past. Internal or external load sensing is available.
