PIC 18F67J60 Web Server Module
This module was designed for internal use as an embedded web server module to control instruments through a web interface. We are now offering it to the public for the first time. For a complete, ready to use kit including the Demo board and Web Server Module please look here. The module uses a Microchip PIC 18F67J60 Microcontroller with a built-in Ethernet 10MBit MAC and PHY controller.
The embedded Ethernet controller uses the same command set as the Microchip ENC28J60 SPI Interfaced Ethernet controller and is compatible with the Microchip TCP/IP Stack available for free.
To help you in comparing our board against comparable products on the market from manufacturers like Olimex, BiPom, Netburner and even Microchip themselves we have put together a price and feature comparison chart. We will be adding to it on a regular basis. If you have a competing product you would like added or corrections to the chart data, drop us a note and we will add it in and let the chips fall where they may.
The board is available as an embedded module or with a demo board to supply power and demonstrate basic board functions. The boards may be purchased separately or as a kit. A modified version of the Microchip TCP/IP stack is provided with each board.
We are now providing the board with version 3.75.6 of the TCP/IP stack provided by LJCV Electronics in San Antonio, TX. Jorge there has done an enormous amount of work in re-writing this version of the Microchip TCP/IP stack for various platforms including the PICWEB1. Please visit his PICWEB1 project page for more information

Standard configuration is with a DS2401 48 Bit serial ID chip which will provide a MAC address capable of operating on a private network or experimentation, but is no longer technically unique in the sense of using it directly on the internet. If you plan on using it live on the internet you should select the optional DS2502 MAC address option which will provide a unique MAC address for the unit.
