Model 403-34 Anti-Syphon Above-Ground Tank Valve, 1-1/2" NPT Threads w/ Factory Installed 3/4" Reducing Bushings, Galvanized, w/ all Four Springs necessary to cover the 4 possible set hydrostatic head pressure ranges (0-5 ft; 6-10 ft; 11-15 ft; 15-20 ft), w/ Reference Information installation instructions sheet. (NOTE: Hydrostatic Head is the height measured from the highest point in the line to the lowest point in the line)
WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SAYS ABOUT THE CURRENT PRODUCT:
Reducing fire hazards and preventing fuel spillage should a line rupture. The flow would automatically stop the syphon effect. The Universal Model #403 Anti-Syphon Valve is used to reduce fire hazards and prevent fuel spillage in above ground storage tanks. Should the line rupture, the #403 stops the effect of fuel being syphoned out of the tank, preventing spillage in the surrounding area.
