The L-Dens density transmitter is designed to be built into systems and instruments requiring density or concentration measurement and control of liquids. Mass flow can be determined by adding a volumetric flow meter.

The L-Dens density transmitter continuously measures the density concentration and temperature of liquids flowing through the sensor. The L-Dens has no moving parts and is maintenance-free.
The L-Dens density transmitter is a flexible OEM module which can be integrated into different systems and instruments.
The density of the fluid sample is measured by applying the Anton Paar oscillating U-tube principle, the most accurate method for the density measurement of fluids. The power processor board processes the measuring signals and makes them available for external utilization.
The resonance frequency of an oscillating U-shaped tube is directly related to the density of the liquid contained in the tube. The density, temperature-compensated density and concentration of the liquid can be calculated from the resonance frequency and temperature.
