This is the popular Heathkit IT-11 Capacitance Checker in exceptional condition. The IT-11 is the older version of the IT-28. The only difference between the IT-11 and the IT-28 is the color and the knobs. Electrically the're the same.
I've ("mechanically") taken the IT-11 completely apart. Checked all componets and replaced where needed. Cleaned and polished everything down to the smallest screw. I've re-calibrated it. It's in perfect working condition.
One picture shows a .01 uf capacitor being checked. You can see the eye tube open at .01 on the scale.
I will also include a complete copy of the manual. The "operation" section of the manual gives you a detailed description on how to use the IT-11
