Designed for use in weather-exposed or direct-burial locations. For making tap or branch splices on unshielded synthetic insulated cables rated 5 KV and lower when using a split solder sleeve or compression type connector, and to a maximum of 600 volts when using split bolt connector or multi-conductor cables. This kit will accommodate the following connector and conductor sizes:
Cable O.D. (inches): 1/4" (min.), 5/8" (max.)
Conductor Size: Split Bolt #4 AWG (max.), Crimped #2 AWG (max.)
Sheath Opening (Inches): 4-3/4" (max.)
Kit Includes: Mold Body, Pouring Spouts, Scotch 23 Electrical Tape, 3M Scotchcast No. 4 Resin and Instructions.
