The MCS-651 is a two-part through-beam scanner. The transmitter and receiver use a modulated light system with an LED light source. The modulation circuitry for the transmitter and the receiver amplifier are on separate cable-mounted units 15-3/4†from the heads. A red LED on the receiver-amplifier unit indicates the receiver’s state. The diode is illuminated when the light beam is broken. The MCS-651 series is offered for 12 or 24 volt operation. It can also be used with Warner Electric main power supplies, e.g., MCS-149 or MCS-152.
