New battery disconnect / cut-off switch - side post -
These battery disconnect / cut-off switches are designed for use on GM vehicles with side post batteries and made by Gama Electronics. Great for eliminating battery drain on cars, light trucks, boats, ATV's, snowmobiles, etc. that are being stored or not in use often. These have been tested to exceed 200 amps. A turn of the knob makes it easy to disconnect the battery to work on the vehicle. It is also good as a theft deterrent by removing the knob and taking it with you when your vehicle is parked in a public place - don't want that show car stolen! Installation instructions are :
* Remove negative cable (-) from battery
* Using the included bolt, attach switch to negative battery post
* Screw battery cable into threaded hole in switch.
